FAB Direct BMW Parts

This site is now getting over two million hits per month!

Over the last 16 years FAB has established itself as one of the largest suppliers of used BMW spare parts in the UK. FAB employs 18 people and makes over 9,500 shipments of BMW parts a year, shipping as far a field as Australia, Argentina and Hong Kong.

Using SQL, our website development team organised their entire stock online (over 10,000 parts!) and designed several features of the site where the user can search for these parts in a number of ways, searching by their cars series, year and model, or by searching for particular types of part. As there are more than one of each part, and they can be in various grades of quality, our website development team have made it easy for the customer to find exactly what they need. Also, as alot of the parts can fit in a large amount of different models and types, our web designers made it easy for FAB to add these new parts into all the different categories quickly.

It is the only place where you can buy new, remanufactured and second hand parts for your BMW online.

Customers can sign up to become a member, and specify which cars they own, after this they only have to click on their car to see a list of every part they can buy that will fit in their car.

As well as this there are plenty of ways you can get in touch with FAB using online forms that will take the information you need and send it to them for you, also a fitting centre which lists their approved fitting centres near you.

Police Superintendants:

This site has recently been redesigned to conform with the current web standards

The Police Superintendents’ Association of England and Wales represents the interests of over 2000 Superintendents and Chief Superintendents. Association members work in all of the 43 Home Office police forces across England and Wales, the British Transport Police and the Civil Nuclear Constabulary.

This site has recently been redesigned entirely, using up to date methods of web standards, and with useability in mind. The site has also been designed to be extremely accessible for all users, including blind people and colourblind people.

This site manages the European time directive, with an online timesheet application our website development team coded. There is also a downloads section where users can upload pdf's and images for the other members to view and download.

This site is an extranet, built mainly for the members to share information.

Jigsaw Puzzle Club:

Online sales have tripled in the last year, and this site is also now getting over one million hits per month!

The Official UK Puzzle Club is a very special jigsaw club, which allows you to take advantage of jigsaw puzzles and jigsaw products from the worlds finest jigsaw puzzle manufacturers and brings together jigsaw puzzle fans throughout the UK.

We have just created a forum for this site.

This site has over 1000 members, and gets over 1000 unique visitors a day. There are 900 jigsaws available to buy which are easily managed by the owner with our website development team admin content management system. The products are also auto-uploaded to google. The site has a monthly newsletter, and an area for people to sign up for membership. It has a sister site, called 'whispers' which also sells jigsaws and peripherals, where you can also play flash jigsaw games online designed by us.

Suburban Turban:

Suburban Turban specialises in women’s turbans and hats and features milliners from across Europe and the UK.

Our website development team built them a secure online shop and put their stock online for them. As their hats come in lots of different colours, we added a swatch facility, so the customer can choose a colour from a list of 10 for example, rather than navigate through 10 different products all identical apart from the colour.

Their orders and shop management are easily managed using our content management system, and it is easy for them to update, add or delete products and orders.
